Our established client in the Sugar Land area is looking to add a Plant Controller to their team. Please see the description below and requirements.Some of what you get to do daily;Financial Management: Oversee and manage the financial operations of the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Cost Control: Monitor and analyze costs related to production, materials, labor, and overhead, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to plant management and corporate finance teams.Variance Analysis: Analyze budget vs. actual results, identifying and explaining variances and working with department heads to address any discrepancies.Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing carrying costs.Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations, including tax laws and reporting requirements.Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.Capital Expenditure Analysis: Evaluate and provide financial analysis for capital expenditure projects and investment decisions.Financial Planning: Contribute to the development of long-term financial plans and strategic goals for the plant.Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of financial professionals, including accountants and analysts.For immediate consideration, contact Mark, mark.loiacano@roberthalf.c0m
